By creating a login account with Smartdater you are registering your acceptance of the Smartdater Terms and Conditions. You represent and warrant that you have the right, authority and capacity to enter into this Agreement and to abide by all of the Smartdater Terms & Conditions.

You must be over 16 years old to use the service. Your profile, will be used for matching and is visible to ALL members of Smartdater. Your mobile phone number is never disclosed to other members of Smartdater.

As a registered member of Smartdater you understand that Smartdater offers an opportunity for meeting new people but Smartdater does not guarantee that any member will successfully match with another user. Smartdater also does not guarantee that any successful match between two participants will lead to a successful date subsequently. Smartdater reserves the right to refuse you the use of the service.

Smartdater reserves the right to invite media to attend events and exhibit your profile on the website of Smartdater.

Liability Limitation

Smartdater aims to give single people a chance to meet one another. However we are not a matchmaking service and do not verify the personal details of users. Please approach any contact with matches with the same caution you would undertake when meeting other people you do not know.

By registering with Smartdater you agree that neither Smartdater nor its associates are liable for any damages, direct or indirect, that may arise from using Smartdater services. This includes any damages, without limitation, arising out of communicating with other participants registered with Smartdater. Such damages include, without limitation, physical damages, bodily injury and or emotional distress and discomfort.

Smartdater uses technology infrastructure (including mobile networks) over which Smartdater and its associates have no control. Therefore, in the event that you suffer damages of any kind  by using Smartdater, you agree to release Smartdater and its associates from any liability with respect thereof. Typical mobile network issues include delayed or undelivered sms messages. Smartdater reserves the right to change venue and timings of events.

Smartdater services rely on mobile phones for delivering services. Your mobile phone must have sufficient battery power, be capable of receiving and sending sms and have sufficient money on pre-paid accounts where applicable to perform sms. Mobile phones that cannot acquire a signal or are not in working order for sms operation will not be able to use Smartdater services. In such cases you agree to release Smartdater and its associates from any liability in resulting damages or costs.

Charges

It is free to create a profile and search for matches via the website www.smartdater.biz

All SMS commands sent to our WaN (World Access Number  +44 762 480 480 0) should be charged at the user's standard network SMS rate (The cost of sending SMS messages is entirely dependant on your network and contract. Please consult with your mobile service provider for more information - Smartdater has no control over this). Flirt texts, dating and services messages sent out by Smartdater on your behalf will cost 1 MatchTek credit each. (This is typically 25p per credit)

A typical transaction would involve you sending an SMS command to our WaN (costing you your network's standard SMS rate) and subsequently Smartdater sending out a response costing you 1 MatchTek credit.

MatchTek credits can be bought online at www.smartdater.biz or via pre-paid cards at selected outlets.  MatchTek credits are valid for 1 year from the date of purchase.
